We are proud to launch our official bmibaby Foursquare page! We are one of the first airlines to create a brand page on Foursquare and we hope you find it useful. We are confident that you will find the page helpful – we will be using it to share our tips and inside knowledge about bmibaby destinations as well as much more.

We have created locations for all of our check in desks and airports so you can check in with us, log your journey, see our tips and earn points too!
What is Foursquare?
Foursquare is a location-based social networking app which enables you to check into a location using your mobile phone anytime, anywhere.
Foursquare can help you track your travel and even has a ‘to do list’ function, which will help you keep a log of anywhere you fancy travelling to as well.
You can leave tips for other people when you check-in. This is a great way of letting others know what to look out for and you’ll probably spot a lot of good advice from other users too which will no doubt inspire you to visit new places. Foursquare offers the option of personalised tips to help you find exactly what you’re looking for!
You can earn points each time you check in with Foursquare, and can collect badges and rewards for regular check-ins. One of our favourite badges is the jetsetter badge – which you receive after checking in to five different airports.
Check in enough times to the same location and you could even gain the Mayorship! Will you be the first to become a Mayor of one of our specially created check in desks?

We have created check in desks for all of our bases in the UK and the 38 destinations we fly to.
Next time you fly with us, you’ll not only be able to check into your destination airport but the bmibaby check in desk too – a great way to collect even more points and let your fellow travellers know exactly where you are, and leave tips for future travellers too.
bmibaby destination guides
We have created a collection of ‘Grand Tours’. These are destination guides that are specially recommended by bmibaby travellers and experts, just for you.

Each tour has its own list of things to do and see. For example our bmibaby travellers have recommended restaurants, museums, galleries and the great outdoors to name a few. So remember to check in and see what there is to do on your next trip, and recommend something you have enjoyed on your visit. You can also select and add these to your own ’to do list’ or tick them off to add to your ‘things done list’ to show off on your profile and earn points.
Destination tips
Once you check in to a bmibaby check in desk, you will often see tips about the local area or indeed useful information about the service that we provide.
You have a choice of adding a picture of the venue you are at, writing a tip to share with others about the venue, and you can share it with your Twitter and/or Facebook friends to if you wish.
Keep an eye out for deals – some venues/airports such as bars and restaurants offer discounts on food and drinks when you check in for the first time or more than several times, it can vary. So next time you are at the airport, check in to a cafe and see if there is an offer going on!
How to check in on Foursquare with bmibaby
Checking in on Foursquare is an easy process, and you only need to follow a few steps:
- Make sure you have downloaded the Foursquare app on your device (you can download it here)
- When you are at your venue or location, click ‘check in’
- Select the venue where you currently are, on ‘nearby places’. If you cannot see the venue listed, you can search for the venue by name.
- Once you have found the right venue, you can click on the green button ‘Check in here’.
