It’s time to announce the winner of #MySpain! There have been almost 5,000 entries to the competition, and with your help, we are on a mission to highlight beautiful sights of the cities we fly to and bring our destinations to life.

Last week we revealed our third finalist for #myspain and since then all three finalist images have been live on our Instagram feed and the community have been voting for their favourite picture using the ‘like’ feature on Instagram. Here are the images that featured in the final vote:
Week 1: Niko (@nikotk), Week two: Luis @luisgele, Week three: @fedeguci.
At final count, Luis’ floral picture has received 39 votes, @fedeguci’s atmospheric city shot has received 74 votes, but just edging out in front by a whisker is Niko, with his iconic bull silhouette receiving 79 votes! Congratulations Niko, you are the winner of a pair of flights on the bmibaby network! You can follow Niko on Instagram @nikotk to see some of his other lovely photographs.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who has entered our #myspain competition on Instagram over the past few weeks. Today we reached 5,000 entries to the competition, and each image shows Spain as a beautiful and diverse country.
Most of the competition entries have been submitted not only from the UK but from all over the world. We have received lots of images from people actually living in Spain too, so we have different perspectives on this wonderful place.
bmibaby Instagram competition with Instagramers Madrid
We are thrilled to have been working so closely with IGersMadrid – Spain’s official Instagramer group to share the invitation with our Spanish friends. There are over 100 Instagramer groups world wide offering a communal place to develop your love for Instagram – find your nearest group here: http://instagramers.com.
As a thank you to all entrants from the UK and beyond we will now be producing a fantastic guide featuring all images which have used the #myspain tag. This crowd sourced travel guide will act as a place of inspiration for all bmibaby customers. The visual guide to Spain will be compiled soon and shared with bmibaby fans across our social networks!
#myspain is now the fifth competition to be hosted on the bmibaby Instagram feed – with images from Italy, Switzerland, Holland and Germany all making up our destination guides. Next month a brand new competition will be revealed on the bmibaby Instagram feed – keep your eyes peeled for our announcement.
How to add your photos to the #MySpain destination guide
If you would like your pictures to be part of this unique guide, upload them to Instagram, tagging them with #myspain and #bmibabygram - it’s as easy at that! Don’t forget you can still upload images to the Italy guide too by using #myspain. By using the tag, #myspain or #bmibabygram, consent is given to bmibaby use your Instagram image in bmibaby’s crowd sourced guide to Spain.
We will soon be announcing which destination we will be featuring for the sixth round of our Instagram competition. Keep your eyes peeled!
